Early Years Worker Band 3 (18.5 hours per week)
Due to increasing numbers, an exciting opportunity has arisen in our Cubs & Kits Daycare Nursery and Pre-School for us to recruit an 18.5 hours per week Early Years Worker, based at our Berwick Family Hub.
We are looking for someone who has good communication skills, is self-motivated, reliable and enjoys working as part of a busy team. You will have had experience of working with babies/children 6months - 4 years old, in an Early Years setting, hold a minimum level 3 Early Years qualification, have a sound understanding of child development and the needs of young children along with a good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and Practice. You will also be competent completing children's assessments and working and communicating with families and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for children and families. You will have knowledge of working with children with SEND and the procedures to follow along with the experience of completing essential applications/paperwork, to ensure support for these children is in place.
