This is an exciting opportunity to join an existing experienced staff team of a 5 bedded children’s residential home within North Tyneside.

The home requires two part time Residential Childcare officers to offer support to the young people and staff team working a variety of shift patterns including night times and weekends. The home caters for young people with disabilities and complex needs.

The home provides support to young people through building positive relationships, providing a nurturing environment whilst dealing with complex issues and supporting the young people to have positive outcomes and achievements to reach their full potential.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 and an Enhanced DBS disclosure, including Barred List Check, will be required.
