Job Description



We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lecturer to join our team, delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across a range of apprenticeship standards. This role is ideal for a passionate educator with a strong background in Business Administration, Customer Service, and Retail, who is committed to supporting apprentices to achieve their full potential in the workplace.



 



Key Responsibilities



Deliver engaging and inclusive teaching, learning and assessment across:



 - Business Administrator Level 2 & Level 3 Apprenticeship Standards



 - Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 & Customer Service Specialist Level 3 Apprenticeship Standards



 - Retailer Level 2 & Retail Team Leader Level 3 Apprenticeship Standards



 



Conduct robust initial assessments to identify apprentices' starting points and develop tailored Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) that reflect their goals and the knowledge, skills, and behaviours (KSBs) required by the apprenticeship standards.



Design and deliver schemes of work, lesson plans, and learning resources that are innovative, inclusive, and aligned with curriculum and industry requirements.



Embed English, maths, and key themes such as safeguarding, British values, Prevent, equality and diversity, sustainability, and health and safety into all aspects of delivery.



Provide differentiated support and additional learning interventions to meet the needs of individual apprentices, including those with additional learning needs.



Implement effective formative and summative assessment strategies, including preparation for End-Point Assessment (EPA), and maintain accurate records of learner progress.



Conduct regular progress reviews with apprentices and employers, ensuring timely achievement and high levels of satisfaction.



Contribute to the continuous improvement of curriculum delivery, including the development of standardised resources and participation in quality assurance activities.



 



Essential Requirements



Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent)



Assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA) or willingness to work towards



Proven experience delivering apprenticeship standards in Business Administration, Customer Service, and/or Retail



Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills



Commitment to continuous professional development and apprentice success
