Are you an experienced Registered Manager with a passion for person-centred care and service innovation? Do you thrive in leading teams to deliver responsive, high-quality support that empowers people to live better lives?
 
We’re looking for a dynamic and driven leader to manage our Extra Care services – part of South Tyneside Council’s CQC-regulated Adult Social Care Direct Services. This is a pivotal role where you’ll shape the future of care delivery across multiple sites, ensuring services are safe, effective, and truly responsive to the needs of our residents.
 
About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will:
 
  • Lead and oversee the operational delivery of Extra Care services.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and Council policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement, quality assurance, and workforce development.
  • Embed systems and processes that support safe, well-led, and caring services.
  • Champion co-production and strengths-based practice across your teams. 

About You
You will bring:
 
  • Proven experience managing CQC-regulated services (Extra Care and/or domiciliary care).
  • A strong track record of leading multi-site operations.
  • A commitment to person-centred care and enabling independence.
  • The ability to inspire and develop diverse teams.
  • A proactive, innovative mindset and a collaborative approach.

Please note:
 
  • Enhanced DBS and relevant pre-employment checks will be required.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is preferred for roles entering CQC-regulated care homes.
