An opportunity has arisen to join Newcastle City Councils resilience team.
The successful candidate will work to ensuring that the City Council meets its requirements as a Category One responder under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and has a suitable Business Continuity Management System in place to enable the organisation to continue to function in the event of an incident.
Working on a wide range of projects to continuously improve our preparedness and response arrangements.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience of project managing business continuity arrangements
- Experience of emergency response and recovery
- Experience of planning and delivering multi agency exercises
- Experience of designing and delivering training sessions to officers at various levels
- Experience of writing and/or maintaining emergency plans
