Darlington Borough Council are seeking to recruit two Control Centre Operators to work in the CCTV department within Community Safety.
You will join a professional control room team at a state-of-the-art control room overseeing a range of systems including CCTV, Life line call handling, access control, remote monitoring and alarm systems.
Flexibility to working hours and duties is essential, along with a positive and enthusiastic approach. You must have the ability to work to a high standard, follow instruction, and have confidence in all you do.
You will need an SIA Public Space Surveillance CCTV Licence (Or obtain the licence within a reasonable timescale of commencing the post, training to be provided). Please note this post also requires a Standard DBS check.
The Control Centre operates 24/7 to cover this our team work on a three shift bases 06:00 - 14:00hrs, 14:00 - 22:00hrs and 22:00 - 06:00.
You will be allocated set shifts, however you may be required to cover any shift to meet operational needs, there will be the opportunity to work extra shifts as the needs arise.
