An academy school in Northumberland is looking to appoint a Teacher of Food Technology.  The position will be on a full time basis for of 1 term, starting 24/04/2017.  You will be required to teach Key Stages 3 and 4 Food Technology.

The small, friendly school caters for pupils aged 13 – 18.  The overall aim of the school is to help pupils to develop a love of learning and the values, skills and attitudes that will be required for a purposeful life beyond school.

To be successful in this role you must:
  • be an enthusiastic and committed teacher with vision, drive and commitment
  • have the skills to make a significant impact on raising the quality of teaching and learning
  • be proficient in planning, assessment and target setting so that all children make good or better progress
  • be able to inspire and motivate
  • be committed to raising achievement and standards
  • hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
  • have recent experience / knowledge of teaching Food Technology at Key Stages 3 and within the UK National Curriculum.
