A secondary school in west Northumberland is currently looking to recruit a Chemistry Teacher to start as soon as possible on an ongoing basis until the end of the academic year. The position is to teach Chemistry to Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 on a full time basis.
A co-educational 11-18 high school, it is small in size with under 700 pupils, including around 200 in the Sixth Form, and takes pupils from an extended catchment area. They have achieved the International School Award for their commitment to overseas visits and school links.
The school ethos is to work and learn together to be exceptional, with an aim to promote core values of honesty, loyalty, equality and fairness, and respect for others. This encourages students to develop and mature, building positive relationships with the friendly staff and the wider community.
