First Class Supply are currently working with a North Tyneside School who wish to appoint a History Teacher to commence as soon as possible.  You will teach on a full time basis to pupils in Key Stages 3-5
The school, which caters for students aged 11-18, is an exciting and challenging place to learn and a warm and caring place to be.  Student achievement is consistently high, with pupils making progress far beyond expectations.
To be successful in this role you must:
  • have a strong classroom presence
  • have the skills to make a significant impact on raising the quality of teaching and learning
  • secure good progress for all students
  • be able to demonstrate resiliencebe able to inspire and motivate
  • be an enthusiastic and committed teacher with vision, drive and commitment
  • hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
  • have recent experience / knowledge of teaching History at Key Stages 3, 4 & 5 within the UK National Curriculum.
For a newly qualified teacher relevant support will be provided.
