The school is part of the Government PSPB programme and is on track to move into a single site purpose built school in November 2014. This is a particularly exciting time to join the staff.

The staffing structure has been reviewed and this new post has been identified.

The Assistant Head Teacher will be a member of the leadership team and senior planning group providing leadership, development, vision, inspiration and direction for the school, leading by example. The successful applicant will:

? Be the lead professional for pupil progress, attainment & achievement.
? Provide strategic lead and contribute to the School Improvement Plan and the school SEF.
? Be a Team Leader for appraisal of designated teaching and non-teaching staff.
? Lead key areas of school self evaluation and monitoring as directed by the Headteacher.

Essential Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status.
Experience of holding management/TLR or Leadership post within a school setting.
