Hours per week / Working pattern: 0.6 sessions, all day Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
The Governors at Frosterley Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a high quality, inspirational, good and experienced teacher to join our team. The teacher will job share the post, working with a teacher returning form maternity leave in our Year 3/4 class. The post commences in September 2014 and is a temporary position.
The successful candidate will become part of a committed team who have high expectations and demonstrate a caring attitude towards our children’s academic and pastoral development. Our pupils need a teacher who will take an interest in them as individuals and who wishes to ensure that they make excellent progress by making learning exciting and memorable.
The successful applicant will be an good/outstanding practitioner who is able to demonstrate skills in the following areas:
• Experience of working in key stage two
• Experience coordinating a curriculum subject
• Evidence of exemplary classroom practice demonstrating a passionate commitment to both the academic and pastoral welfare of children
• Hold high expectations of pupils and a strong commitment to raising standards
• Be an inspiring teacher with a desire to make learning exciting, memorable and fun
• Have the enthusiasm and skills to deliver a creative curriculum
• A sense of humour and willingness to work as part of a team
• Have a commitment to the whole life of the school, including providing extra-curricular activities
