Governors wish to appoint a SIMS and Data Manager as part of the Administration team at Wolsingham School and Community College.
The SIMS and Data Manager will ensure all requests for student and school level data made by internal and external agencies are met. Examples of external agencies that may require school data are: DfE, SSAT, Ofsted and Durham County Council. The Data Manager will also be responsible for all SIMS related administrative duties. In addition, the SIMS and Data Manager will work closely with the Deputy Headteacher and will be required to monitor, update and analyse the school's attainment and progress tracking and reporting systems. The school currently uses SISRA and 4matrix software packages. Experience of using these analytical tools is desirable but not essential.
The SIMs and Data Manager will need to work effectively with students, staff, parents and other agencies to provide the support required, therefore strong interpersonal skills are necessary.
Excellent information technology skills are required, in particular experience of using excel and Capita based products. The successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent administrative skills and have the ability to work sensitively, collaboratively, enthusiastically, calmly and effectively under pressure.
We welcome applications regardless of age, disability, gender, ethnicity or religion. Wolsingham School & Community College is also committed to the protection and safety of its students. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure DBS check.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Please note that we do not accept CV's.
