The Governors of Ferryhill Station Primary School wish to appoint an excellent teacher for a mixed age Y1/2 class. The school is graded by Ofsted as “Good” and we wish to build upon the current achievements in this happy and caring school. The successful candidate will be:
• At least graded good, and preferably, outstanding as a practitioner
• A team player, who has excellent interpersonal skills
• Capable of leading and managing a curriculum subject
• Accurately assess children’s achievements and needs
• Willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life, including extra-curricular activities
• Direct a full-time classroom assistant
• Fully differentiate for the mixes of ages and abilities of children within the class
• Be flexible and have a good sense of humour
Visits can be made to the school on Monday April 28th at 4pm or Friday May 2nd at 4pm. (Please ring the school if you intend visiting). Application forms can be downloaded, the attached files and completed forms should be returned to the school by 5pm on May 7th.
