We are looking for an outstanding Product Design teacher with a commitment to academic excellence and helping every child succeed. This person will support the Subject Leader in curriculum development to ensure Wellfield’s vision of high standards and academic achievement is upheld.

The ideal candidate will:
• be a committed team player with a track record of supporting pupils to make exceptional progress
• demonstrate high levels of ambition and optimism regarding what the school and its students can achieve
• have the resolve to make a real difference to the lives of pupils

ESSENTIAL Qualifications: QTS

Wellfield was judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted in March 2014.

The school is currently undergoing an £8.5million refurbishment as part of BSF which will be completed by the end of the summer term. Situated only 8 miles to the east of Durham City the school is well located for access to the A19 and A1(M). It is also within comfortable driving distance of affordable housing and areas of outstanding natural beauty. We benefit from a Beacon Nursery in the village.
