Further Information
The County Council is seeking 2 suitably experienced and skilled persons to deliver levels 1, 2 and 3 the Bikeability Cycle Training scheme in schools across County Durham.
The main functions of the roles are to work closely with the Senior Instructors and the Bikeability Officer to deliver high quality practical training within the school premises and in the trafficked road environment.
The post holders will also provide written feedback to trainees and basic reports to the Senior Instructors and Bikeability Officer.
The successful applicants will be experienced cyclists with good knowledge and understanding of cycle training, preferably with previous experience of training delivery.
The successful applicants will work in various areas of the County using their home as a base.
Required Qualifications:
A good basic general education to GCSE level or equivalent including English.
A relevant Bikeability Instructor qualification is desirable
The posts are subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.
