The Government’s Welfare Reform agenda and changes to the funding of local government have led to a number of changes within the Council's Revenues and Benefits Service.

There are a number of vacancies within the services and we are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated individuals to the team.

This post provides technical support to the Revenues and Benefits service and will be responsible for developing and maintaining current and new IT systems, testing and implementing system upgrading and releases.

The successful post holder will have excellent information technology and communication skills, be highly motivated, able to work in a changeable environment, be a team player and be able to use their own initiative.

Previous experience of working in revenues and/or benefits is desirable, however, full training and support will be given.
