The school wishes to appoint a good or outstanding teacher of Music, with strengths in both practical music and music theory. A commitment to the further development of the music curriculum and of extra- curricular music is expected. Good keyboard skills and experience of music technology would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will be passionate about the teaching and learning of the Creative Arts and will be committed to ensuring the progress of all students in an inclusive climate for learning. They will contribute to the whole school Creative Arts provision and will have the opportunity to teach at GCSE and A level dependent upon experience and performance. Applicants able to teach other subjects will be considered favourably. The person appointed will have access to a comprehensive CPD programme whilst working in a supportive and friendly department.
