The Fostering and Adoption Service based at Langley Moor, Durham is looking for a professional, customer orientated individual who can work flexibly, sometimes outside normal working hours, in order to assist with the recruitment of Carers for children and young people.
The postholder will be responsible for providing a first point of contact for Carers enquiring about Fostering and Adoption, and will be required to attend Information Evenings and Foster Carer Consultation meetings to provide a note taking service. In addition the postholder will keep relevant databases up to date and liaise with professionals to ensure the applications are progressing within the required timescales.
The successful applicant will be required to work Tuesdays, Wednesdays and alternate Mondays.
Essential Qualifications:
BTEC Higher in Public Administration or NVQ4 in Business/Marketing or ICSA Parts 1 and 2 or equivalent in a related discipline.
