An opportunity has arisen to join the One Point Service as an Early Help Coordinator in Consett and Stanley area. This vacancy is temporary until 31st December 2014 or the day before the return of the substantive post holder, whichever is sooner.
The Early Help Co-ordinator will work alongside the Locality Manager to provide line management, leadership and practice supervision to OPS DCC staff providing services for children and young people aged 0-19 years in the Consett and Stanley Locality. Ensuring OPS DCC staff and services within the locality are effectively focussed on early intervention and prevention leading to improved outcomes for children and young people. To lead practice transformation with OPS DCC staff in the locality to ensure the service is focused on meeting the needs of the most vulnerable families. The post holder will hold a small caseload of Think Family cases.
Essential qualifications:-
• Degree or professional qualification in Education, Early Years, Information Advice & Guidance, Social Work, Youth & Community Work or equivalent
