Employment Location:
Your normal place of work will be at a Locality Office. However, you may be required to work at any council workplace within County Durham.

The overall aim of the Looked after and permanence Service is to ensure that all children who are looked after with either Care Plans of permanence through adoption, long term foster care or long term residential care receive a timely, high quality and consistent service.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of high quality social work and support services in line with statute, regulation, national standards, policy and procedure.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
A social work qualification, experience of working with people in a social care setting, including looked after children are essential.
You will receive in house induction, quality supervision and a commitment to your on going continuing professional development. HCPC registration is essential.
Interviews are scheduled for Thursday 16th and Friday 17th October 2014.
