An enthusiastic, committed and hardworking teaching assistant is required to cover maternity leave at our successful junior school as from Monday 3rd November 2014, cover will be required until at least until Monday 27th March 2015 or until the substantive postholder returns.
Duties will mainly involve working closely with class teachers on in class support but will also include leading other intervention programmes which the school employs. There will also be an element of work linked to our primary learning mentor programme. See attached job description and person specification.
Working within a strong team is an essential pre-requisite for this position.
Essential Qualifications: Teaching Assistant Qualification at NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
Interviews will be held on Thursday 2nd October 2014.
