The Academy at Shotton Hall is committed to preparing and cooking outstanding food for all of our children and maintaining high nutritional standards whilst offering delicious, healthy and satisfying menu choices.

We are seeking to appoint a Head Chef with a commitment to fresh, healthy food to take us to a new level in our catering service. We are looking for someone to manage food production for 1200 students, working with the Catering Manager to deliver vision, professional service and to train and enthuse our catering team to become outstanding.

The successful applicant should have significant experience and a minimum of a NVQ Level 3 in professional cookery. This is an opportunity to make a real difference to lives of young people. There is a strong commitment from the governors and leadership team to improve the canteen facilities and catering service.
