Further Information
We require a full time Youth/Alternative Education Support Worker within the One Point Service based within the Durham and Chester-Le-Street Hub locality.

The post is to work in partnership with Park View Academy to provide student support for young people that have been identified by the school. The support worker will work with young people on both their school work and issue based work. These programmes will help to develop young people’s social and emotional capabilities and the worker will monitor this using the SEC Assessment Tool.

The post is term time only for one year.

Essential Qualification:
Level 3 qualification in a relevant field such as Health, Social Care, Education, Housing, Family Work, Youth Work, Police

Interviews will be held on 10th October 2014.

The successful applicant for this post will be required to apply for a Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.
