Further Information
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic individual with significant knowledge of SEN and vulnerable groups who will work with schools and other education providers to build capacity in meeting the needs of children and young people with additional needs within their establishments. The postholder will work closely with colleagues to ensure the early identification of children with SEN and to embed the use of the SEN Support Plan in meeting their needs. The postholder will also be responsible for facilitating SENCO networks and support for designated teachers for looked after children.

The postholder will have considerable experience of SEN and a sound knowledge of the SEND funding Reforms and the new SEN Code of Practice.

Essential Qualifications:
Relevant Degree
Qualified Teacher Status
