A Teacher of Science
Required ASAP

We are looking to appoint a teacher (NQT or experienced teacher) to join our successful school, in order to increase our teaching capacity. We intend to use our enhanced teaching capacity within Science to help to reduce class sizes, support targeted intervention and to support the growing number of students taking A Level Science.

We wish to employ someone with the ability to engage and inspire students and who will compliment a team of dedicated teaching professionals. The successful applicant will support the teaching of Science across all Key Stages. The successful applicant will also demonstrate the following:

• A commitment to high achievement
• Well developed and practiced subject knowledge and teaching skills
• A creative approach to leading learning
• Effective communication skills
• A commitment to professional development

This is an exciting time to join King James as we prepare to move into new facilities and continue on our journey to excellence. This specific role requires the post-holder to support the development of innovative teaching and learning within the department, with a specific focus upon promoting active teaching strategies.

Essential Qualifications: Degree or equivalent, Qualified Teacher Status, ICT skills.
