Do you have the ability to motivate, manage and inspire the teaching staff within a primary school?
Have you a track record of monitoring and evaluating data in order to structure future plans for the school and its pupils?
Do you demand the highest standards of teaching from a school you work in?
The Head Teacher and Governors of our school are seeking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and creative Deputy Head Teacher with excellent leadership qualities to work closely with the Head Teacher and to join our leadership team in moving our school forward at an exciting phase in our development with effect from January 2015 or as soon as possible.
The successful candidate needs to be energetic, forward thinking, ambitious and model outstanding classroom practice.
The expectation is that the successful applicant will:
• have high expectations and are passionate about children’s learning, progress and well-being;
• has vision and the energy to share in the leadership and management of the school
• has experience in leading development in a key curriculum area and an understanding of how children learn across the 4-11 age range
• has the ability to inspire, motivate and work as part of a team
• be an experienced teacher, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• be an effective professional role model within and beyond the classroom in order to raise standards across the curriculum
• can promote the Christian values, ethos and vision of the school
