Required for 1st January 2015 initially for 2 terms.
We are looking for an outstanding teacher to join our friendly team at Burnside Primary School. We are a popular school that is well supported by staff, parents, governors and the local community.
We wish to appoint an inspirational, highly motivated Intervention Teacher with high expectations and a thorough understanding of how to close the gap in childrens’ basic skills.
This position is part time 0.4, preferably working the beginning of the week.
We are looking for someone who:
• is an outstanding teacher with experience of teaching in KS1 and or KS2 and has a proven ability in accelerating progress and raising attainment
• has a clear vision and understanding of the needs of all pupils in order to ‘close the gap’ in learning
• has an outstanding knowledge and ability to interpret data and can use this to challenge pupils’ learning
• can work with parents to provide the very best support for all of our children
• goes the extra mile
• has endless energy, ideas and, very importantly, a good sense of humour!

Essential Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status.
All shortlisted candidates will be observed teaching during the interview day.
Interviews will take place during the week beginning Monday 8th December 2014.
