Durham Educational Psychology Service is a highly valued service that has recently been restructured following a period of Educational Psychologists being managed within integrated teams. We are looking for creative and enthusiastic colleagues with good interpersonal and communication skills to join the Educational Psychology team in Durham. You would be joining a dynamic team that offers a wide range of opportunities to work with individual children and young people, schools and more broadly within a vibrant Children’s Services Authority.
You will need a first degree in Psychology and a recognised post graduate/ doctorate qualification in Educational Psychology or will have this qualification in September 2015 and be able to meet the requirements for registration with the Health Care Professions Council.
We offer an induction package and regular supervision as well peer support, and a range of opportunities for continuing professional development. We have a commitment to supporting staff in developing their professional skills and interests.
Interviews will be held week commencing 15th December 2014.
Own transport or means of mobility is essential as you will be required to travel within the Local Authority and occasionally beyond..
