We are seeking an Advisory Inclusion teacher to work within our highly valued Cognition and Learning Team with children who may have specific learning difficulties and/or learning difficulties.
The role will involve providing consultation, assessment, advice and strategies to remove barriers to inclusion and promote the achievement of individual pupils with school settings.
The successful applicant will enjoy the benefits of working within a supportive team with a wide range of expertise and experience. The post is based at the Education Development Centre, Spennymoor and involves travel across the county.
You will have:-
• a relevant qualification i.e. Teaching qualification
• a specialist qualification i.e. ATS or AMBDA
• experience of working in classrooms with children with specific learning difficulties and/or general learning difficulties
• experience of delivering training
• your own transport arrangements to enable you to travel distances between schools
