Contract: Temporary for 18 months
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (0.6 FTE)

Durham Cathedral has secured support from the Heritage Lottery Fund to deliver Open Treasure; a £10 million project which will transform the experience of visitors to the Cathedral through the creation of high quality gallery spaces in which to deliver a rolling programme of exhibitions featuring the Cathedral’s own extensive collections and items on short-term loan from other prestigious institutions.
To help us deliver this transformational project, we are looking for an experienced Business Continuity Officer. You will have experience of managing business continuity projects. Ideally you will also have experience of project management in a heritage environment and knowledge of the Fabric Advisory Committee.
In this role you will undertake duties associated with disaster recovery, business continuity, fire management and secretarial and administrative support for the Cathedral’s FAC.
