Required from 5th January 2015 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The Governors seek to appoint two enthusiastic and caring support assistants to provide support for Y3 and Y4 classes and to work with smaller intervention groups. One post will be specifically to support the development of reading and reading interventions within school (full time) whilst the second post will be to provide general support in Y3 and Y4 classes (0.7 contract). Flexibility with regard to role is a necessity.

The successful candidates must be appropriately qualified ie, NVQ level 3, Childcare in Education, City and Guilds Advanced Certificate in Learning Support (or equivalent childcare qualification) AND A good basic education, including English and Maths to GCSE level.
