We are a caring school, with close links to our community; we have a strong emphasis on creating a warm, nurturing, welcoming environment where all children enjoy learning and thrive.
We wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work part time; 3 days a week. The post will be temporary until 31st August 2015, with a likelihood of permanent extension thereafter.
Successful candidates will work with whole classes, groups and individuals to support learning and raise standards across the primary school, predominantly in Key Stage 1 and EYFS in the first instance, but with the flexibility to work across the primary phase.
We are looking for a practitioner who:
• Is creative, caring enthusiastic and committed to contributing fully to our busy and thriving school.
• Has excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• Has experience of working with children at all levels, both in EYFS and across the primary phase, and have evidence of educational impact.
• Has experience in the primary setting of working with children with SEN
• Has the ability to work as part of a team to achieve the best outcomes for our children and school community
• Is committed to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities

Essential Qualifications: Level 3 teaching assistant CACHE level 3, NNEB, BTEC National Diploma, NVQ level 3
The position is subject to an Enhanced Level DBS check.
