Temporary Social Work Assistants required ( two posts) to cover Maternity Leave.

1 post x 37 hrs per week - full time - Child Protection Team
1 post x 22.8 hrs per week - part time - Assessment & Intervention Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Social Worker Assistant for the Child Protection Team at an office based in Peterlee and at Stanley Assessment and Intervention Team. The successful applicant will be required to provide an effective and efficient service to all users.

You must be able to work calmly under pressure and without close daily supervision, and to quickly analyse and evaluate information. Exceptional communication skills are a priority in all mediums, as well as a developed understanding of the role, functions, and needs of other organisations. Given the nature of this role, the ability to work flexibly is also paramount.

Essential Qualifications: 5 GCSEs (A-C grades) or equivalent relevant qualification.
