A cook is required to work within Park House, Durham County Council's Short Break Service for children with disabilities. The post is temporary until 30th June 2015.
The successful post holder will be required to work shifts which will include some weekend working.
The role will include preparing and cooking suitable meals for the children and young people accessing the service as well as the staff. There will be a requirement for the post holder to assist with menu planning, food ordering and stock rotation.
There are a number of children and young people that require specialist diets or have food allergies so the post holder will be required to develop an understanding of this to enable them to provide appropriate meals.
Interviews are scheduled to be held week commencing 23rd February 2015.
