Salary: Group 2, £48,991 - £56,670

N.O.R. 190 plus 52 FTE Nursery and 24 FTE 2 old provision

Required for September 2015. The Governors seek to appoint a committed, experienced and enthusiastic teacher with senior management experience. (Assistant Head, Deputy Head or Headteacher)

Acre Rigg Infant School is a busy vibrant school dedicated to developing each and every child to their full potential. All in our community are valued, achievement is recognised and diversity celebrated.

The school serves an area of high deprivation and low economic circumstances, SEN runs at around 33% which is higher than the National average.

Acre Rigg Infant is a popular school. We have a 52 FTE place nursery and provision for up to 24 two year olds each session.

The successful applicant will lead a team of staff who work together and support each other, are forward thinking and dedicated and are committed to developing their own academic achievement and teaching abilities.

Applicants will need to provide leadership of a high quality in the academic, pastoral and management fields and be able to show evidence of the successful implementation of change.

The County Council undertakes an annual review of its school provision as part of its commitment to establish a model of ‘all through’ Primary Schools across the county, where appropriate. This school will be part of that review.
