The post holder will act as an independent chairperson in Looked After Reviews, Child Protection Conferences, Foster Carer Reviews and complex planning meetings.
He/She will develop and maintain a range of quality assurance systems in relation to departmental procedures and Government Performance Indicators.
The post holder will play a key role, linking with managers and staff in Children and Adults Services and other professional agencies, in the development of best practice in care planning and service provision for children and young people.
The successful candidate must be social work qualified and HCPC registered with extensive post qualifying experience in children and families, including recent child protection and Looked After experience as per the IRO Handbook.
The successful applicant for this post will be required to apply for a Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.
