DEPUTY HEADTEACHER

Salary: Group 1, £41,150 - £45,421

Required for 1 September 2015. The Governors seek to appoint a committed, experienced and enthusiastic teacher with senior management experience.

Esh CE Primary School is an outstanding Church of England Primary school, located in the rural village of Esh, on the outskirts of Durham. We pride ourselves on this being a strong community school where our motto ‘Everyone Smiles Here’ tells you all you need to know about our school.

Due to the retirement of the current post holder, our school is now looking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner with leadership experience to work in partnership with the Headteacher and the rest of the team. We are looking to appoint someone who:

• Is an excellent class teacher with a range of experience across school
• Enjoys working as part of a highly dedicated team
• Has the highest of expectations and the ability to lead and inspire our dedicated staff and pupils
• Has successfully led initiatives in their current school
• Has strong communication skills and a sense of fun
