Durham County Council Looked After and Permanence service is highly ambitious and successful for the children we look after. You will be joining a buoyant and well led management team. If successful you will need to demonstrate how you will take the service forward to meet the future challenges whilst maintaining high quality and innovative service delivery building on current successes.
You will need to be a qualified and experienced social worker and will require substantial management experience in statutory Childrens Services.
We have well established and strong partnership arrangements and you will be required to work alongside elected members who are fully engaged in the delivery of our services to looked after children, their carers and care leavers.
