Highway Services has an opportunity for a Senior Structures Design Engineer based at Meadowfield Depot; however you may be required to work at any Council workplace within County Durham.
The successful applicant must have significant experience in the design and maintenance of bridges and highways structures and be qualified to Degree level standard or equivalent in a relevant civil engineering discipline.
The postholder will primarily be part of the Highway Services Management Team and have responsibility for the direction and control of the Structures Design Team including design in bridge replacement and maintenance, principal inspections, general inspections and budget management.
Qualifications: Qualified to Degree level standard or equivalent in a relevant Civil Engineering discipline.
