The Head Teacher and Governors of this good and continually improving school, seek to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher, with experience of leading and/or supporting SEN across the primary school.

The successful candidate must:
• be an enthusiastic, creative and excellent practitioner who will bring their own style and skills to support the excellent work developed throughout the school.
• have an understanding of the role of SENCO in a Primary school and be able to deliver ( with training as required) effective leadership of SEN.
• have high expectations for all children, motivating and engaging them in the learning process.
• be able to assess and track pupil progress effectively to drive achievement forward.
• be prepared to make a valuable contribution to our school with a desire to be involved in all aspects of school life.

As a Rights Respecting school we would expect applicants to have an understanding of the UNCRC as promoted by UNICEF.
