18.5hrs Part-time Post

(Temporary for 6 months subject to service review)

Work in your local area and contribute to a vital community service.

If you have elderly friends and relatives you will understand the value they place on independence. These roles will give you the opportunity to contribute to a valuable community service by providing care and support to service users.

These posts require candidates with the ability to develop excellent communication skills, be able to demonstrate a common sense approach, be able to work on their own initiative and manage their own workloads, along with the ability to build positive relationships with service users, colleagues and external agencies.

Applicants must have a relevant experience of caring in a personal or professional capacity.
