Further Information
Cleveland Fire Brigade is an intelligence led organisation which provides a first class fire and rescue service to the Teesside area. The Brigade’s external operating environment is of a challenging, complex and unique risk profile and thus the provision of a first class information and intelligence function is essential for the Brigade to maintain its excellent services. The Risk and Performance Unit will play a key role in supporting the Brigade in the implementation of its ambitious Community Integrated Risk Management Plan 2014-18 and the achievement of the Brigade’s vision and goals.

Following a recent organisational review we are looking to recruit a Risk and Performance Officer into the Brigade’s Risk and Performance Unit based in the Corporate Services Directorate.

The role is one of two roles within the Unit that will provide effective and high quality information to the organisation operational services and its key partners. This information will be evaluated and interpreted to assist in strategic and tactical resource planning, performance and risk management and to drive improvements within services across the Brigade.

Candidates must be methodical in their approach to work and be able to work as part of a team in a high pressurised environment. In addition candidates must be highly numerate with excellent analytical and IT skills and be able to evaluate and make sense of complex information and communicate results in the most appropriate way.
