We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated Head of Human Resources to lead a challenging and demanding HR agenda for Cleveland Fire Brigade.
The successful candidate will join the Corporate Services Directorate, based at Brigade Headquarters at Hartlepool. Working with managers at all levels of the organisation the individual will provide a high quality, cost effective, confidential, proactive and professional human resource advisory service to support the Chief Fire Office in delivering a high performing, diverse and value for money fire and rescue service.
The successful candidate will be a Chartered Member of the CIPD with proven experience of senior management and Human Resources in an organisation of similar complexity and size (minimum of three years management experience). They will have experience of policy development, implementation and evaluation and also budget preparation and management. They are also required to have up-to-date comprehensive knowledge of current Employment Law and ACAS Code of Practices. The ability to work under pressure and deliver high quality results to set deadlines is a must.
