PROGRESS LEADER – (Literacy)

32.5 hours per week, whole time
Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic person to complement teachers’ delivery of the national curriculum. This will involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities when required and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupil’s achievement, progress and development.
Wellfield was judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted in March 2014.
The school recently underwent an £8.5million refurbishment as part of the Building Schools for the Future programme. It is situated only 8 miles to the east of Durham City and is well located for access to the A19 and A1(M). It is also within comfortable driving distance of affordable housing and areas of outstanding natural beauty. We also benefit from a Beacon Nursery in the village.
