To learn and be given training in the required skills and responsibilities over the term of the apprenticeships to then be able to undertake the full range of duties.

To build up the necessary skills to support the team and work proactively to support the team and service delivery.

This will include working alongside full qualified Electricians renewing Street Lighting equipment, fault repairs and maintenance; this will all be carried out in an external environment on public highways and footways and within restricted Civils site locations. Required Qualifications
You must have or expect to achieve 4 GCSE’s including English Language or Literature and Maths at grades A-C (or equivalent in a relevant subject area)

It is anticipated that there will be a written test and interview dates are to be confirmed.

Due to the requirement to drive a County Council vehicle in this role, future achievement of a valid driving licence is required for the category of vehicle used, and the satisfactory completion of an in-house Driver Induction Assessment.
