We are looking to appoint an experienced and dynamic professional to drive forward the work of the County Durham Safeguarding Adults Board. Following the introduction of the Care Act 2014, this involves developing collaborative working arrangements between the Local Authority, Clinical Commissioning Groups, the Police and other key partners to the Safeguarding Adults Board.
The Business Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of key products and initiatives as required by the Board, including; business strategy, an outcome focussed performance framework, training and communication strategies. This will involve providing significant contribution to the development of policy and practice through the work of the Board’s sub groups and partnership working arrangements.
Required Qualifications: Professional qualification/degree in health or social care or degree in other relevant subject.
The successful candidate will have extensive post qualifying experience, a professional background working in the safeguarding adult’s arena as well as experience in managing projects and developing practice.
