We are looking to appoint an Information Co-ordinator to work as part of the Improving Progression of Young People team. The team works with young people, parents/carers, colleagues and partners including schools, colleges and learning providers to support young people’s progression and participation in learning.

The key responsibilities of the role are to identify and respond to the information needs of all of the above in relation to careers education and guidance, progression and participation in learning post 16 and include:
• Maintaining and developing the help4teens website
• Developing different approaches to information provision for clients including using social media
• Working proactively with a range of statutory and voluntary agencies to develop and promote resources to meet client needs
• Carrying out evaluations of information with colleagues and service users
• Contributing to the delivery of training to colleagues within CYPS and partner organisations

Required Qualifications:

Level 3 Qualification in Information Management, ICT or Art and Design

4 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent including English Language
