Cleveland Fire Brigade is looking to recruit an HR Advisor to work as a member of the HR team playing a key role in delivering the highest of service to internal and external customers. Your enthusiasm and persuasiveness will ensure that you, and the people you support, will achieve the Brigade’s priorities.
Ideally CIPD qualified (or equivalent), your sound understanding of UK employment law and experience in providing first class HR service will ensure that you will hit the ground running. With your well-developed organisational skills, flexibility and ability to think strategically, you will also be confident to lead on a wide range of employee relations case work and HR projects.
Building strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders will be essential to your success. A collaborative style and a talent for influencing and negotiating mean that you will be able to quickly win and retain people’s trust and confidence. You will personify a positive and collaborative work ethic
You will have at least 5 years generalist HR experience (preferably working with Unions) and proven effective relationship management skills and able to respond to competing priorities to manage a high and diverse workload. You will be confident in using IT systems, particularly databases, and Microsoft Office.
