The Governors of Darras Hall First School seek to appoint a high quality, experienced and committed Teaching Assistant to support a child with learning needs associated with placement on the Autistic Spectrum.

Darras Hall First School is a large First School located on the Darras Hall Estate, two miles West of Newcastle Airport. From September 2017 we will be a Primary school and will be moving into a purpose built new school building on the current site in Spring/Summer 2018. The Senior Leadership Team is committed to on-going professional development for all staff.

The successful applicant will:
work under the direction of the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver intervention programmes and to provide support and guidance to a specified child on a 1-1 basis and within groups of children;
