Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant - Temporary from September 2017 to August 2018

The Governing Body wishes to appoint an enthusiastic individual, who is creative, motivated and dedicated to helping us raise standards of achievement in this happy school.
The successful candidate will:
• Supervise the behaviour of pupils during the lunchtime period, in the dining hall and both indoors and outdoors, in accordance with general practices of the school.
• Ensure that Health and Safety practices and procedures affecting pupils are maintained including the reporting of accidents, action taken etc.
• Assist in ensuring that only authorised persons/pupils are on school premises during the lunch time period.
• Co-operate with staff working with pupils participating in lunchtime activities.

This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.
